{"id":2990,"date":"2013-09-04T19:53:37","date_gmt":"2013-09-04T19:53:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.darimart.com\/?p=2990"},"modified":"2013-09-04T20:28:11","modified_gmt":"2013-09-04T20:28:11","slug":"crispy-ice-cream-sandwiches","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.darimart.com\/crispy-ice-cream-sandwiches\/","title":{"rendered":"Crispy Ice Cream Sandwiches"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A fun project to do with the kids, these ice cream sandwiches can be made in a snap and they taste fantastic.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h3>Ingredients<\/h3>\n<p>1\/3 c creamy peanut butter<br \/>\n1 T butter<br \/>\n1 (10\u00bd oz) bag mini marshmallows<br \/>\n6 c crispy rice cereal<br \/>\n3 c Lochmead Farms Vanilla Ice Cream (substitute any flavor)<\/p>\n<h3>Directions<\/h3>\n<p>Place ice cream in mixing bowl to soften. In a large pot, over low heat, melt peanut butter and butter. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat and add cereal; mix well. Coat a square 9&#8243; baking dish with cooking spray; press half mixture into the pan. Spread ice cream evenly across cereal. Press the remaining cereal mixture atop ice cream. Place in freezer for \u00bd hour or until set.
