What you’ll need:
- Cute cup or mug to drink from
- Straw
- Hand Mixer or whisk
- Bowl for mixing
- Microwave
Ingredients:
- Creme Soda (8oz) (we used Dr Pepper’s Creme Soda but any of your favorite Creme sodas will do)
- Salted Butter (1/4 teaspoon)
- Caramel or Butterscotch Syrup (1 tablespoon, or more if you want a stronger/sweeter flavor)
- Lochmead Farms Whipping Cream (1 cup makes around 4 servings)
- Sugar or sugar substitute (2-4 tablespoons depending on your sweetness preference. 3 is perfect for us here at Dari Mart testing HQ)
Directions:
- Add your butter and caramel/butterscotch to your drinking glass and microwave for 20-30 seconds. (Do this first so your glass can cool before adding your cold soda, if you’re too hasty your glass could crack).
- To a mixing bowl add your whipping cream and sugar/sugar substitute. Use a hand mixer or whisk until thick and fluffy with some peaking.
- Pour your soda into your glass but leave about an inch of room from the rim to add your whipped cream.
- Add 2-3 scoops of whipped cream on top of your soda, be careful of the fizziness. This isn’t a science experiment, you don’t want it to overflow.
- Drizzle some more caramel/butterscotch overtop and enjoy!
